Maul them 'Cats!

Florida Tops Kentucky 63-5

My man (along with everyone else's), SuperTim Tebow, had 2 more rushing touchdowns, leaving him tied with EMMITT SMITH--you know him, the leading rusher all-time in the NFL--for most rushing touchdowns at UF. I predict that record will fall next Saturday, and will be shattered by the time Super TT leaves. Then there were his two passing touchdowns, one that was not much his doing (to Demps, who ran for 50 yards) but one perfect pass to Percy that was classic Timmy.
And yet, far and away the most exciting were the back to back blocked punts in the first quarter. Here's the second one. (Demps again...he's like the Flash...everywhere at once)

Their punt team was wandering around like an Amish preacher at Circuit City...

They had a recognition of Gene Edmondson (Mr. Two-Bits) at homecoming. This guy was so cool. He used to sit about 4 rows up from where Pappy and I sat, and we would see him sneak off during the game, only to show up across the stadium rousing the fans with his 2 bits, 4 bits, schtick. Quite a fellow.

The other Florida college teams did well. Semi-holes and Blowhards won. But a bad weekend for the pros. Tampa Bay and Jax both lost, though the Fish came through. I can't believe the Steeltown boys lost to that little fart Eli. How depressing.

BTW, a loud shoutout to my baby girl, AuntLaLa, on her birthday. Loveyahoney.
